Tottenham star duo has returned to the team following the international break
Tottenham Hotspur duo, Brennan Johnson and James Maddison have returned to the team following the international break. Maddison took to Instagram and shared a story on his account to mark the occasion.
The Liulywhites have some big games ahead of them this season. After they play Luton Town tomorrow Arsenal at the end of the month. That fixture is followed by Liverpool on the fourth of May.
Finally, the Spurs will have to face Man City. However, a date for that game hasn’t been decided yet. Arsenal are currently on top of the Premier League table ahead of Liverpool on goal difference.
Guardiola and his men are chasing in third and only need one point to catch up. Seeing how all three teams will be facing off against Tottenham it is fair to say that Ange Postecoglou could end up deciding this season’s winner.
If things go right the team might even take over Aston Villa to claim the fourth spot for themselves. Thus, gaining a guaranteed ticket to the Champions League next season. However, the road ahead will be difficult for Ange and his men.
James Maddison will be counted on to put up big performances as he is the best midfielder in the squad. A lot depends on his consistency.
