Adam Sandler adds star power to Tottenham Hotspur’s victorious encounter against Luton Town
Ange Postecoglou has taken Tottenham Hotspur from a struggling big six in the Premier League to possibly the most exciting club in Europe. Spurs have taken massive strides forward under the tutelage of the Australian coach.
The club’s performances have warranted royalty’s presence to witness greatness live. Spurs have seen multiple stars visit Tottenham Hotspur Stadium recently, with Hollywood star Adam Sandler being the latest addition to the growing list.
The Grown Ups star visited N17 last weekend as Tottenham came from behind to snatch a win over Rob Edward’s Luton Town.
Spurs started the game on the back foot after conceding a third-minute goal to former Manchester United midfielder Tahith Chong.
It was a tale of two halves as the hosts came out of the tunnel with fresh hopes and intensity. Two second-half goals proved enough to snatch three points from the relegation-threatened Luton Town.
Half-time substitute Brennan Johnson had a positive impact as his fizzed cross in the 51st minute was accidentally parried into his own goal by Issa Kabore to level the score at 1-1. It seemed that we were heading for a draw until Tottenham skipper Son Heung-Min stepped up in the 86th minute to send the club home.
Tottenham star acknowledges Sandler’s presence
Tottenham forward Brennan Johnson took to social media to acknowledge Adam Sandler’s presence at the weekend’s game. The former Nottingham Forest forward posted a story on Instagram with a goat emoji on Adam Sandler’s photo at the stadium.
