Bournemouth could make a surprise move for £13m Tottenham Hotspur star
As reported by Uriel Lugt, Bournemouth are keeping an eye on £13m Tottenham Hotspur star, Alejo Veliz. The 20-year-old has been binding his time in Spain as he is currently on loan to Sevilla.
However, Veliz hasn’t had a lot of opportunities to show his potential with the Spanish side. Sevilla is slowly gaining a reputation for being a poor place for loanees. Manchester United youngster, Hannibal Mejbri has also failed to get minutes with the Spanish side.
As things stand, all signs currently point towards another loan spell for the 20-year-old forward. Ange Postecoglou is building a solid young core with the Lilywhites. Whether or not Veliz will be a part of that is yet to be decided.

Veliz might not be getting minutes but the Sevilla coach holds the young star in high regard. He has previously remarked that the Argentine is tremendously hungry to prove himself and does whatever is asked of him.
Clearly, the 20-year-old’s main priority at the moment is getting regular playing time. Tottenham Hotspur are a little crowded in attack. Veliz will surely not be getting the nod over players like Richarlison and Son Heung-Min.
So, a move to Bournemouth could look appealing for the young player. However, The Lilywhites could try and work out a loan arrangement with the Premier League side to satisfy both parties.

Veliz has been unable to make his mark just yet. However, with the right opportunities he could flourish into a star. It’ll be interesting to see where his fate takes him next season.
