Son Heung-min & his monumental journey at Tottenham Hotspur
Following Tottenham Hotspur’s game against West Ham in the midweek, South Korean forward Son Heung-min became just the fourteenth player in the club’s history to reach that four-hundred mark in terms of appearances.
The 31-year-old is tied to the North Londoners and its history for eternity. In a matter of days, Tottenham’s skipper put his name in the club’s history books. He became the top five goal scorer in Tottenham Hotspur’s history following his goal against Luton Town, and now he has reached another milestone at the club.
Opening up the books of history, Steve Perryman leads the baton with the most appearances for the Spurs, with 854 appearances to his name. Followed by Perryman, there are two of Son Heung-min’s former team-mates alongside him, as now LAFC goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is in seventh place, having made 447 appearances for Tottenham, while the club’s all-time goalscorer accompanies them with 435 appearances wearing the Lilywhites badge.
