Bryan Gil seeks permanent move away from Tottenham
Popular transfer guru Fabrizio Romano affirms that Bryan Gil, who has barely featured for Tottenham Hotspur this season, does not prioritize heading out on loan in the upcoming summer transfer window.
While the arrival of Ange Postecoglou has brought ample progress to Spurs, there are a couple of players who are struggling to get into his side and are reportedly not happy with their personal situation. Bryan Gil is one of them.
However, Danish midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is the only player who has publicly admitted his unhappiness about his current situation and lack of game time. While alongside Bryan Gil and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Hotspur Way graduate Oliver Skipp is another player yet to get an extended run-in into the eleven.
Frustrated Gil eyes Tottenham exit after lack of playing time under Postecoglou
Bryan Gil has already been linked with a move away from North London, as much so that Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold expressed his surprise when Gil remained at N17 beyond the January transfer window. Many expected him to leave on loan at least in the winter window owing to a lack of minutes.
According to Fabirizo Romano, Gil does not fancy any temporary switch after a couple of loan spells at Valencia and Sevilla.
The 23-year-old is only said to be considering ‘important’ offers in the summer, or he is happy to keep put at Spurs.
Gil’s flair, technical ability, and versatility make him an appealing prospect, and when played regularly, he is a genuine talent to contend with. Although he is not getting those minutes at Tottenham as of now, he would be looking to get some experience under his belt.
