Although there remains a chance that he extends his stay at Chelsea, the likelihood points to a possible exit.

The West Londoners are said to be looking for at least £40 million for Conor Gallagher. That’s especially true given that they sold Mason Mount to Manchester United for £55 million with a year left on his contract last summer, while Tottenham signed Maddison, who also had a year left on his contract with Leicester City, for a £40 million fee.

Conor has been in excellent form this season and has been one of the few positives at the Bridge. Tottenham will be getting someone who fits into that number 8 role while giving attacking returns and running a million miles each game.
