Lack of playing time pushes Bryan Gil towards Tottenham exit
Tottenham Hotspur starlet Bryan Gil could depart the North Londoners this summer owing to struggles to get considerable minutes under his belt, per GIVEMESPORT. The club is open to considering his permanent departure in the off-season.
The 23-year-old moved to White Hart Lane in 2021 in what was anticipated to be a highly acclaimed move by the Lilywhites. His transfer, at the time, was concluded for a £21 million fee, with Erik Lamela heading the other way (to Sevilla). While it was looked at as a bargain deal for a high-potential youngster, it has turned out to be a transfer that both parties are struggling to come to terms with.
Owing to his struggles to settle into life in England, Spurs sent Bryan Gil back to Spain on two occasions on a temporary move to Sevilla and Valencia. While Tottenham opted to keep him around for the 2023–24 season, he has struggled to make his mark with only 189 minutes of Premier League football spanning across ten appearances under his belt this season.
At this point, Daniel Levy & Co. could permit Gil to bid adieu on a permanent deal; the Spanish winger would prefer to leave during the summer transfer window, although not on a loan move again. Gil has always been eager to fight it out at Tottenham, but per reports by GIVEMESPORT, a permanent departure may be imminent.

Dutch giants Feyenoord are the frontrunners to securing his signatures as of now. Bryan Gil still has a couple of years on his contract at N17, though considering he has been a surplus to requirements for three years now, it would be ideal for all parties if he were to seek pastures elsewhere.
