Where will the former Tottenham Hotspur boss land? Antonio Conte next chapter…
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte is in demand as three Serie A giants line up for his signature. The 54-year-old has yet to take charge of a club since leaving the North Londoners in March 2023; however, as per reports, he is nearing a return to football as we head to the conclusion of the ongoing season.
Turin-based Italian giants Juventus were eyeing Antonio Conte for a second stint at the Bianconeri’s as the club lined up for a life without Massimiliano Allegri, who has been in charge of the club since 2021 in his second stint as head coach of La Vecchia Signora. Conte won the Scudetto for three consecutive years during his time with Juventus.
Alongside Juventus, Napoli are also considering bringing the 2016–17 Premier League winner to Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. He was approached by Napoli earlier this season when Rudi Garcia was dismissed; however, he wanted to finish his sabbatical before returning to the bench. The Naples-based club is ready to knock on his door again as we head into the off-season.
While Juve and Napoli look to sign Conte’s services, AC Milan is looking to see if they can upgrade Stefano Pioli at San Siro. Pioli has done extremely well with the Milan Reds; however, there have been some criticisms around his style of play and his continual backing of certain players. Supporters feel it is time to move on from the man who won them the Scudetto in 2021–22.
Managerial merry-go-round as clubs lineup Conte to disrupt status quo
According to journalist Rudy Galetti, the future of Antonio Conte is yet to be decided, while Napoli and Milan are not his preferences at the time of writing.
