Ange Postecoglou provides an update on his team ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s clash against Arsenal
Tottenham Hotspur will be playing one of the most important games of their season as they take on Arsenal this Sunday. For the Gunners, it could be the win they need to further extend their lead in the race for the Premier League title.
On the other hand, The Lilywhites will be looking to catch up to Aston Villa who took a six-point lead over the past couple of weeks. However, the Spurs do have two games in hand will be looking to win both to tie things up.
Speaking ahead of the momentous clash Tottenham manager, Ange Postecoglou has shared some team news with us. He has also given some positive news regarding Pedro Porro and Richarlison. Let’s have a look. (h/t Tottenham Hotspur)
“Losing Destiny in this period, a bit disappointing for him and for us he’s been a very important player.”
“Pedro and Richy are trying well this week and both available”
The Loss of Destiny Udogie will be felt over the last few games of the season. Unfortunately the Italian national will not be booting up again for the remainder of the season. However, on a more positive note, Richarlison and Pedro Porro are both available.
The Brazilian has been missing since early April and the Lilywhites have desperately needed his composure in front of goal. Porro also took a knock last time out but things don’t look serious and he could be involved against Arsenal.
Getting these two players ahead of the game against the Gunners will be huge for Tottenham. They will be able to battle Mikel Arteta and his men at close to their full strength.
