Arsenal could receive a huge injury boost ahead of their game against Tottenham
Both Tottenham and Arsenal have a lot riding on their upcoming clash this Sunday. Mikel Arteta and his men will be fighting to further extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table. They are one point ahead of Man City but the Blues have a game in hand.
Pep Guardiola and his men can’t be expected to drop any points during this stage of the season. However, on the off chance that they do Arsenal need to capitalise on it and that’s why the fixture against Tottenham this Sunday will be crucial.
On the other hand, the Lilywhites will be fighting to book themselves a place in the Champions League. No one expected the Spurs to be competitive once Harry Kane left, however, Ange Postecoglou has shown great character to compete this season.
The team was even in the running to win the Premier League title back in December. However, that would’ve been a massive overachievement and Ange Postecoglou will be happy to stamp a ticket to UCL for next season.
However, Tottenham will be a little short-handed as Destiny Udogie went down to an injury earlier this month. On the other hand, the Gunners seem to be gaining strength and Football.London reports that they could have Gabriel Magalhaes back for the clash.
On the plus side, 22-year-old Justin Timber isn’t ready at the moment and is expected to return next month. But the Lilywhites shouldn’t get too happy since Takehiro Tomiyasu is already back and will be available against them.
