Tottenham star could potentially be unhappy under Postecoglou suggests journo

Bryan King has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur star, Richarlison could be unhappy playing under Ange Postecoglou. His words come shortly after reports came out linking the Brazilian striker away from the club.

King believes that you can look at Richarlison and tell that he’s unhappy playing for Tottenham Hotspur. Let’s have a look at what else he had to say while speaking about the Brazilian striker. (h/t Tottenham News)

“I’m not the biggest fan of Richarlison,”

“When I watch him play at Tottenham, he doesn’t look as though he is enjoying his football. He looks unhappy, and it is no good keeping players who are unhappy.”

He went on to suggest that there could also be issues between Richarlison and Tottenham manager, Ange Postecoglou. His not being able to play regular football could also be a reason for the Brazilian’s unhappiness.

King finished his statement by saying that he would be happy to see Richarlison playing somewhere else next season. This past campaign has been a little unfortunate for the 27-year-old.

Richarlison has made a total of 31 appearances recording 12 goals and four assists for the Lilywhites. A string of injuries kept the Brazilian forward away from the game for extended periods of time.

Moreover, his inconsistency with injuries have also gotten him snubbed from Brazil’s squad for the EUROs. It has been all downhill for Richarlison during his time with Tottenham. A change of scenery could turn things around for the 27-year-old.

While he does have the potential to play at a high level, the Spurs should consider letting him go if there is any unhappiness between him and the coach.
