Tottenham will have to beat AC Milan for the signature of 30-goal striker this summer

As reported by Italian outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport, AC Milan is interested in signing Tottenham target, Serhou Guirassy this summer. The 28-year-old striker has had a terrific season recording 30 goals and four assists in just 30 appearances.

His stellar form in front of goal has attracted interest from a number of European clubs. So, the Lilywhites were always gonna have a tough path to the signature of Guirassy. However, talks with Milan seem to be advanced.

The report from Gazzetta states that officials from the Bundesliga side have already traveled to hold talks with the Italian side. So, the Spurs will have to move fast if they wish to bolster their attack this summer.

Signing a player like Guirassy would provide an instant lift to the attacking line. Tottenham need a player that they can count on to score on a consistent basis, Timo Werner and Richarlison are far too inconsistent to take the team where they wish to go.

So, signing the 28-year-old striker should be the team’s priority. The Lilywhites will have to beat out Milan but the team can afford to spend during the summer. Hopefully, they can show some promptness and seal the deal.

The front three of Son Heung-Min, Serhou Guirassy, and Dejan Kulusevski seem to be a respectable attacking force. It’ll be interesting to see what becomes of the Guinea national this summer.

For the time being AC Milan are in the lead to sign Guirassy so Tottenham need to play their hand.
