Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium set for music takeover
Tottenham Hotspur have made a massive financial cash cow in their Tottenham new stadium as they continue to serve record revenue numbers owing to all the events at the newly constructed White Hart Lane. The North Londoners recently announced a Travis Scott concert to be hosted at the N17 as the spotlight of London and the world points to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, John Wenham, believes that the club could announce three to four more concerts at N17 in the coming weeks.
Wenham acknowledges that the Travis Scott ‘Utopia: Circus Maximus Tour’, concert will be a big “money spinner.” The London residents will have an opportunity to experience the American artist’s music this summer as the latest run-in schedule of the tour features his show in London on Thursday, July 11, 2024, when Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hosts Travis Scott.
Travis Scott first of many concerts at Tottenham new stadium?
The Lilywhites, not long ago, tried to make an agreement to increase the number of non-football events that they can host at their stadium, which has over 60,000 capacity, from 16 per year to 30.
Wenham, speaking with Tottenham News, said:
“The Travis Scott concert will be another massive sell-out event at the stadium, another big money spinner. I expect three or four more concerts will be announced in the coming weeks now that the club has applied to host 30 non-football events, which is huge.”

This is a massive financial boost to the club and the neighbourhood around the stadium. Additional non-football events should help the Spurs’ financial sustainability. However, this is beyond Tottenham Hotspur; hosting such a tour will also benefit the community at large in terms of the employment and eyes that it brings.
