N17 or Stamford Bridge? Adarabioyo weighs up London switch

Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo has been subject to transfer links, with a move to Tottenham Hotspur on the cards this summer; however, Chelsea have made advances to sign the Manchester City graduate, per HITC.

The North Londoners are in dire need of a central defender in the off-season. There is no depth in the position at N17, something that Ange Postecoglou will be looking to address in the summer transfer window. The Lilywhites did bring in Radu Dragusin in the winter; however, Spurs are expecting at least one more incoming at the heart of defense.

Tosin or bust? Spurs in need of defensive reinforcement

AS Monaco deal for Fulham defender and Tottenham Hotspur target Tosin Adarabioyo set to collapse.
In a surprising turn of events, Tottenham Hotspur target Tosin Adarabioyo could be on his way to Chelsea this summer.

A cost-effective solution for Spurs’ defensive woes, Tosin Adarabioyo boasts not only Premier League experience but also arrives on a free transfer this summer.

The former Manchester City academy graduate moved to Fulham in 2020, has racked up about a hundred Premier League appearances, and has established himself as one of the top-tier defenders in the Premier League. And the 26-year-old is seeking new pastures in the offseason following multiple failed attempts from the Cottagers to renew his contract.

Manchester United and Newcastle United have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old. However, Chelsea have established links to try and sign the English defender this summer. HITC reports that Mauricio Pochettino expressed his hesitance in signing Tosin, though with the Argentine making a pre-mature Stamford Bridge exit, Chelsea have now made a move for the former Blackburn defender.

Chelsea and senior officials at the Bridge believe that signing Tosin Adarabioyo is an “astute piece of business.”
