Tottenham Hotspur add Queens Park Rangers to pre-season schedule

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed another friendly on the lead-up to the 2024/25 season, as the North Londoners are set to face Championship side Queens Park Rangers this summer.

The North Londoners have already kicked off getting their pre-seasons in place and are making headway to getting prepped for the upcoming season with a friendly already kicked off against Newcastle United in Australia. Spurs lost the game down south on pens; however, it proved to be a good opportunity for the club to have a look at some youngsters.

The Lilywhites are now on a summer break, and they will travel to Asia once they get back to the job. Spurs will face Vissel Kobe on July 27th in the J. League World Challenge, followed by Bayern Munich on August 10th in Seoul. There is another expected friendly in South Korea between the aforementioned games; however, details are yet to be announced.

Per the latest reports, it is likely that Tottenham will now line up a pre-season friendly against QPR on July 20. This has also been published on the club’s official website.

The last time both clubs rubbed shoulders was in 2015, when Harry Kane’s brace proved enough for Spurs to walk away with a 2-1 win.
