A bright future awaits for Lucas Bergvall at Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur have gigantic expectations for highly-rated prospect Lucas Bergvall, who is set to arrive at White Hart Lane in the summer transfer window. Djurgardens IF, Bergvall’s current employer, sporting director Bosse Andersson, has suggested that the way the 18-year-old has been performing in the last few months, there is no limit to the levels he can reach and explore.
The North Londoners will be excited to have Lucas Bergvall on their roster, as the teenager is regarded as the best prospect coming out of Sweden for a while. The kind of performances he has been putting in lately are further proof of his testament and potential as he prepares to board a flight to London this summer.
Despite securing his future at Tottenham, the midfielder kept his focus on his current duties for Djurgardens and continued to showcase the reasons behind his big-money move to Spurs.
Djurgarden director praises Bergvall’s professionalism after Tottenham transfer
Bosse Andersson insists that Bergvall has done extremely well on the physical as well as mental sides of things since the transfer to Spurs was announced. He also spoke about how his performances showcased his bright future.
In an interview with Fotbollskanalen, Andersson said:
“Now that there’s only one game left, the spring has gone quite quickly from the time we agreed with Tottenham. The way he’s handled this whole period since he was signed on February 2nd, he’s done it in a fantastic way and really shown that he’s a great player who has an incredibly bright future. The sky is the limit.”

It is great to see that he is making strides before coming to England. He has been blessed with a massive ceiling, and Ange would love a player of Bergvall’s capabilities in his organization next season. However, it is easy to forget that he is only eighteen, and Spurs faithful will have to give him space to come into his own.
