Crystal Palace are not ready to part ways with Tottenham Hotspur target Eberechi Eze
The England international Eberechi Eze’s desire to move from Crystal Palace to Tottenham Hotspur might remain a dream, but Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner needs him for his new full-season duty.
Eze, who joined Crystal Palace in 2020, has completed 4 seasons with the Eagles. The 25-year-old also played a pivotal role in the club’s success in past seasons. The goal-scoring ability of the English midfielder makes him special, and the particular skill of the player makes him the most demanded midfielder in the summer transfer. The top clubs, including Manchester City and Arsenal, have an eye for the Englishmen.
Crystal Palace signed their new Austrian coach, Oliver Glasner, last February. The tactician got off to a good start with the Eagles. He managed to win 7 of the 13 league games for Crystal Palace and also finished 10th in the league table. The Austrian coach is not ready to sell the experienced midfielder.
Eze is the one who is getting ready to travel across London. The player’s representatives had an initial conversation with Spurs. Also the ‘The White Hart Lane’ invited Eze’s family for the North London derby. The player was impressed with the club’s gesture and also expressed his desire to move to the North London side where his family roots are based.
The player also expects a ‘gentlemen’s agreement’ to be honoured as he won’t push for the transfer from Selhurst Park. Eze maintains a fair connection with the Eagles after the Chelsea move broke down last summer. The 25-year-old also extended his contract with the South London side until 2027 last November.

But as per Fichajes.Net, Crystal Palace and their manager Glasner would upset the Englishmen’s dream move, as they need the service of the midfielder for the upcoming campaigns.
The asking price for the midfielder by Crystal Palace is £60m, which is not an affordable price for Spurs to sign the English international. Eze still expects Crystal Palace to let him leave the club in the summer to join the North London side. Eze is likely to be unhappy if he is forced to stay at Selhurst Park for one more season.
