Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski rejects the rumours regarding the link between the Italian club
Swedish international and Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski rejects the rumours that linked him and Italian club Napoli. He could reunite with former Spurs boss Antonio Conte who is now managing the Serie A club.
The Italian manager, who left the North London club in 2023 by mutual consent with the club, hasn’t managed any club for a year. The top-tier manager is now linked to Napoli. Naples, who won the 2022/23 season Italian League title, could only finish tenth in the latest campaign. Napoli believes the four-time Serie A winning coach can make it to five with the club.
Conte, who is interested in his Spurs players, also has experience managing the players. As The Standard reported, Kulusevski and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg have been touted as potential targets of the Italian side, while Radu Dragusin, who only arrived at Spurs in January, has also been linked.
Kulusevski, who is one of the key players for Australian gaffer Ange Postecoglou in the Tottenham squad, scored eight goals and three assists in 39 games for the club in the recently concluded season.
The 24-year-old had an impressive season with the Spurs in the 2022/23 season, which led the club to offer him a permanent 5-year deal in June 2023. The Swedish winger can be used in multiple positions for Spurs.
Postecoglou tried him as a striker in many games, and the youngster never failed to win the hearts of Spurs fans. Dejan Kulusevski’s 90th-minute equaliser, which helped Tottenham snatch a thrilling 3-3 draw at champions Manchester City, was one of the best moments of the season for Spurs.

The Swedish player has been included in Lillywhite’s future plans, and Spurs may not accept any bid for him in the summer.
“I don’t know anything about that. I have heard that Conte is going there. It will be fun to see him there, to see him back in football.”
said Kulusevski, when he was quizzed specifically about staying at Spurs, the Sweden international added: “Yes, I think so.”
From his words, the fans can confirm that he doesn’t have any intentions to join the Italian side and can expect his service in the white shirt for the upcoming campaigns.
