Hojbjerg departure looms as Tottenham exodus begins
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane in the upcoming summer transfer window, and the Danish midfielder can finally leave N17 as the former Spurs manager expresses interest in his signature.
Daniel Levy & Co. will be looking to continue their progress under Ange Postecoglou with strong foundations laid by the Australian gaffer in his premier season with the Lilywhites. He has taken a struggling top side to one of the most exciting clubs in Europe. The officials at Hotspur Way will be looking to back the former Celtic coach with a commendable roster at his disposal.
Mourinho’s magnetism
While there are an abundance of incomings expected at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, they are also lining up ample outgoings in the upcoming summer transfer window, and the former Bayern Munich midfielder is expected to follow suit.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been linked with a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce, and the 28-year-old has already held talks with their sporting director, Mario Branco. It is expected that an outline agreement is in place between the club and the player, per the Milligazette.
The Turkish giants are expected to ‘ sit at the table’ with Hojbjerg’s current employers soon and try to figure out a possible deal for the Dane to move away from N17.
While there has been interest from multiple clubs from Italy and Spain for his services, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will look to reunite with former Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho, who took charge of the Turkish giants earlier this week.

Pierre is set to appear in the upcoming European Championships this off-season, and that could play a role in delaying a possible move away from Tottenham. It is to be seen if Fenerbache can come to an agreement with Levy to relinquish Hojbjerg’s services.
