Sevilla ready to cash in on Tottenham target, seek immediate solution
As per Estadio Deportivo, Tottenham Hotspur started initial talks with Spanish club Sevilla for their striker, Youssef En-Nesyri.. The Morrocan prefers Spurs over the offers from Saudi Arabia.
The Morrocan international has scored 16 goals and two assists in 33 games in the last Spanish campaign. En-Nesyri joined Sevilla from Leganes in 2020 on a five-year deal. After four successful campaigns with the striker, Sevilla is getting ready to accept bids for the 27-year-old striker.
The report says that the striker from Morroco has attracted several top-tier clubs in Europe and also from Saudi Arabia. But the player is more likely to consider the offer from a Premier League club.
Tottenham is also stands front in the race for the striker. Ange Postecoglou has a clear view about the summer transfer targets, he has now approached a number of strikers from various clubs for the Lillywhites. The 27-year-old can be used as one of the striker options for the Aussie coach in the upcoming season.
Seville is expecting €30m for the Morrocan striker’s transfer. The club also want to make the deal as soon as possible to balance their finances for the upcoming summer transfer. So there are high chances of getting the player for €15m, which is half the price asked by Sevilla.
Regardless of the fixed figure, bonuses will play an important role when presenting a sale that, due to circumstances, could be completed on lower terms than expected.
