Tottenham targets Archie Gray as a replacement for Emerson Royal who will leave the club in summer
As per Football Insider, Tottenham is eyeing another Leeds United player, this time it is Archie Gray who grabbed the attention of Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou. The North Londoners also approached some other players from Elland Road.
Lillywhites have now set one more new target from the West Yorkshire club. The club has expressed a ‘concrete’ interest in signing the 18-year-old Leeds academy product. The youngster has gained experience in playing both midfield and defender positions with Leeds.
The Under-21 England team member has completed 52 matches with the club in last season. Gray signed his long-term contract with the club last January, according to the agreement he will be a Leeds player until 2028. As per early reports, Leeds expected his service for the upcoming campaigns. But the West Yorkshire club is forced to sell the young lad in the summer transfer as they need to sell players to help balance the books and avoid committing any profit and sustainability (PSR) breaches.
Some of the top-tier clubs are looking forward to sign a contract with the teenager, but North Londoners have expressed their sudden desire to sign the English player.
Spurs have confirmed they are accepting the bid for the Brazilian right-back Emerson Royal. Emerson has completed 100 matches for the North Londoners recently, and will leave the club soon. Tottenham has to find a new right-wing back as a replacement for him, and the club also wants to give strong competition for Lillywhite’s current option in the position, Pedro Porro.
Spurs also showed interest in some of the players in Elland Road, including EFL Player of the Season Crysencio Summerville. Leeds also wants Joe Rodon as their permanent player from Spurs. Both teams have shared a wonderful transfer history in the past few years.

Ange Postecoglou is aiming for some young heads to add to his squad; the psychological move from the tactician will be beneficial for the club’s future plans. Leeds will also force the club that comes to buy their players to make the deal as quick as possible, as they have to balance the money and also for the summer transfer plans.
