Murillo is one of the three targets of Tottenham from Nottingham Forest
As per Football Insider, Tottenham are interested in signing Nottingham Forest star Murillo as Australian gaffer Ange Postecoglou looks to add defensive reinforcements this summer.
The Foresters signed the Brazilian defender last summer for €12m in a five-year deal from Brazilian club Corinthians. After his first season for the Premier League club, Murillo became one of the most valued players in the Nottingham squad. The 21-year-old has appeared in 36 games for the club and provided two assists.
Foresters think that the Brazilian would be a mainstay for the club, but the club is now forced to sell the player after receiving his one-season service. The Reds are thought to be at risk of breaching the financial rules again this year and need to make around £30m in profit from player sales over the coming weeks.
The defender is eyed by Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and PSG. As a number of clubs showed interest in signing the 21-year-old player, now the Foresters have many options, and his price may increase. Football Insider revealed last month that the Reds will be forced to sell players before the end of June to avoid being hit with another points deduction. So they will close the deals as quickly as possible.
The North Londoners is targeting three players from Nottingham Forest, including Murillo. Postecoglou, who is in search of players to take to his squad, has a special eye on Nottingham Forest. The last campaign performance of these stars gained the attention of an Aussie coach. He also believes the players can make a big difference in the game results.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Morgan Gibbs-White are other players than Murillo targeted by Spurs. Even if several clubs are there for Murillo, Nottingham will consider Spurs more in the race for the Brazilian. The North Londoners also eyed two other players from Nottingham who have the financial background to sign all at once. As they need to complete the transfer within this month, they will prefer Spurs as the primary option. Also, Lillywhites can use this opportunity to negotiate the price and get all three players at a better price.
