The 24-year-old England international joined Nottingham in 2022 summer from Wolves, following the club’s promotion to the Premier League. He has scored six goals and provided ten assists in 42 games for the English club. His consistent performance helped them to sustain their position in the Premier League. Morgan has three more years of contract with the club.

The Englishman was one of the stars Nottingham wished to remain in their squad, Forest, meanwhile, is under pressure to sell players this month to balance the books in fear of further breaches of profit and sustainability rules.

So the club is all set to sell a number of players before this month’s end. The four-point deduction delivered last season for their first breach led to a serious threat of relegation, so the club will avoid having a similar fate in coming campaigns.

As part of Postecoglou’s plan for reinforcing the midfield, Spurs target a number of midfielders from different clubs across Europe, The Aussie tactician also has a special desire to have some young players in his squad. The club has also linked with three other players at Nottingham Forest.

Anyway, Postecoglou’s side will try their level best to sign Morgan, as a number of clubs have shown interest in him. Nottingham also needs to confirm their spot in the Premier League in the upcoming season without their stars. Foresters will expect a good price from the selling players to balance their finances as well as to sign some dependable players for their sustainability in the league.
