Onana exit looming? Tottenham among clubs circling Everton star
Tottenham Hotspur FC have been linked with a move for Everton midfielder Amadou Onana as the North Londoners look to raise the ceiling of the squad in the summer transfer window.
The Lilywhites have progressed in abundance since Ange Postecoglou took charge of the club last summer. The Australian gaffer has taken the club from one of the struggling elites in the Premier League to one of the most exciting clubs in all of Europe, and officials at Hotspur Way would be looking to ensure they provide him with armory to build on this upward trajectory and continue their ascent towards the pinnacle of European football.
This has led the club to pursue a move for the Belgian midfielder alongside city rivals Arsenal for a summer move.
Will Tottenham land Onana from Everton?

Both North London clubs are looking to take advantage of the financial situation at Goodison Park to acquire the 22-year-old defensive midfielder. His current employers are already expecting “cheeky” bids from clubs looking to land his signatures before June 30th, per Football Insider.
Speaking in the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior football correspondent at Football Insider Pete O’Rourke acknowledged the fact that clubs are lining up bids to try and sign the former Lille star on cheap this summer. He goes on to admit that the Belgian midfielder is the most likely player to leave the Merseyside Blues this summer.
Everton would be willing to let go of Onana if a £50 million bid came their way, as it would ensure that other players at the club would have a secure future.
