Daniel Levy urged to sell Tottenham ‘disaster’ Giovani Lo Celso
John Wenham has recommended that Tottenham Hotspur offload midfielder Lo Celso following news from Spain regarding his transfer status. The owner of the respected Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose characterized the 28-year-old’s tenure in North London as a “total failure.” Wenham, in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, suggested that Lo Celso could revive his career by returning to Spain.
Wenham said: “Lo Celso has been a complete disaster for Tottenham. I’m not interested in what he can do for Argentina, I only care about what he does in a Tottenham shirt. It does seem like Real Betis are interested in him. They look likely to lose Fekir and they probably see Lo Celso as a direct replacement.“
“I’m sure he would excel there, I just don’t think the Premier League is suited for him. Therefore, the best possible thing would be to get him out of the club. Once he leaves, his time will be viewed in the same way as Tanguy Ndombele’s time at the club – a complete disaster.”
