Porro praises Spurs midfielders skills
Tottenham star Pedro Porro has opened up through the club’s official media. Through the matchday programme ‘Getting to Know‘ Porro has said that James Maddison, Yves Bissouma and Giovani Lo Celso are the most skilled players in the squad, according to him.
Pedro Porro is one of the favourites of manager Ange Postecoglou, and he is also one of the permanent starters for the club. The Spaniard started 37 games of 41 for Spurs in the last campaign and completed his first full season with the club. He has impressed the North Londoners with his performance, his goal against Burnley was selected as Goal of the Season by our Official Supporters’ Clubs.
After his successful season, he opened up in an interview with Spurs. In between his answers, the player also commented on his favourite skilled players in the N17. When he asked, ‘Who is the most skilful in the squad?’ he replied,
“Me, of course! No, I’m just joking! I think it is very difficult to pick just one player because many of the squad are very skilful. The best are probably James Maddison, Yves Bissouma and Gio Lo Celso.”
Most people were surprised by his answer, In the case of skill, most people will not miss Son Heung-min’s name but as a player who closely plays with the whole squad, the Spaniard got a different view. He believes the midfield department has the most skilled players. Also, including the Malian international Bissouma’s name in the list was unexpected.
James Maddison’s and Lo Celso’s abilities with the ball are familiar to the fans. Both midfielders have also displayed in many scenarios. Bissouma’s tricky moves with the ball would make Porro include his name. Porro also believes the Malian has the best dancing skills in the squad.

Bissouma’s moves with the ball and without it have impressed his teammates. The defensive midfielder was attacked two weeks ago with pepper spray and robbed while on his holiday in France. The fans are hoping for a speedy recovery from his trauma and to shine in the upcoming campaign for Spurs.
