Vanderson impressed at Brazilian side Grêmio before leaving his home country for Monaco in the winter window of 2022. Since then, he has established himself as the first choice in his position at Louis II Stadium, consistently producing excellent performances that showcase his technical prowess and defensive solidity.
Despite an injury-ridden 2023–24 season, Vanderson still managed four goal contributions in 23 appearances for Adi Hütter’s side. His resilience and ability to perform even through setbacks have made him a valuable asset for Monaco.
