Ex-Scout urges Spurs fans to fight Tottenham ticket price hike

Tottenham Hotspur indicated in an official statement that the club would be increasing the prices of tickets going into the 2024/25 season, and former Lilywhites scout Bryan King insists that the supporters should take action following Daniel Levy‘s decision.

The fans will be charged more going into the next season, with the North Londoners becoming perhaps the most expensive club to support in the English top tier. With the cost of the tickets to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium being one of the most expensive in all of Europe, complemented by the increased cost of their new kits, the fans should just start taking out loans to support the club.

And Bryan King wants supporters to do something about it. In an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, the former North Londoners scout said:

“I don’t think Levy has ever been bothered about upsetting supporters. The problem is that despite all the moaning and groaning, people still buy tickets. If they refuse to buy the tickets, then maybe it will make an impact, but nobody is doing it. And if supporters continue to buy tickets, owners will continue to do what they want. I bet there is a waiting list for season tickets at Tottenham.

“The only way to stop these rises is for Spurs fans to say, ‘Enough is enough; we’re not prepared to renew.’ That would be a major blow for Levy.”

As long as the stadium keeps filling, the club will continue to increase ticket prices. It’s no longer a game of love and passion but of money and net worth. The fans need to unite against these decisions to ensure they are not continually exploited by Daniel Levy and the club.
