Spurs face Liverpool hurdle in bid to sign Solanke
Tottenham Hotspur have already signed Timo Werner but Ange Postecoglou confirmed during the club’s tour of South Korea that he would like more nourishment in the striker’s position this summer.

Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke has been linked with the club following a 19-goal blitz in the Premier League during the 2023/24 campaign.
While the Cherries acknowledge that there is bound to be interest in his services, they are likely to refer any of Solanke’s suitors to his £65 million release clause. Spurs are hoping that Bournemouth would be enticed by the prospect of a few Tottenham players in a possible swap deal.
It has emerged, however, that Liverpool retain a 20% share of profits made through Solanke’s future transfer and the Reds will come into the picture if the forward were to join Tottenham this summer, according to Mirror. All this is thanks to Michael Edwards’ smart decision to include the clause in his negotiation back in 2019.
