Tottenham Hotspur have been blessed with an abundance of talent in their academy, and Ange Postecoglou would be looking to ensure that the club keeps hold of the cream talent.
The North Londoners have been vying for new high-potential young players that can make a difference in the long term and ensure that the Australian gaffer can shape them as per his playing style.
Spurs academy starlet Mikey Moore is one of those players that the club managed to keep hold of irrespective of amplifying links away from White Hart Lane.
Tottenham secure future of highly-rated academy star Moore
The academy player has been highly acclaimed at Hotspur Way and had suitors from around Europe lining up on the red carpet to attain his signatures earlier this summer. Daniel Levy & Co. managed to keep hold of Moore despite intensive links from PSG and Real Madrid, per Ben Jacobs.
It is a huge boost for Spurs that they have managed to keep hold of the academy starlet despite big clubs pursuing his signatures. It shows the project that the North London club have assembled under Ange Postecoglou. Moore was spectacular for the youth sides last season, scoring 16 goals and providing nine assists in just 14 games.
Tottenham retain starlet Moore amidst European interest
Moore made his senior debut for the North Londoners at the mere age of sixteen, and with the player has been putting in some magnificent performances for club and country at the youth level. His outings in pre-season have caught the eye of Spurs fans, and Moore is likely to play some part for the North Londoners next season, as he is likely to be James Maddison’s backup option, especially if Kulusevski finds his groove out wide.
