Tottenham in Merseyside showdown for 193cm Norwegian giant

Tottenham Hotspur are enjoying a fantastic summer transfer window as they have concluded some magnificent arrivals at White Hart Lane, including but not limited to the £65 million arrival of Dominic Solanke last week.

The club has also changed their transfer policy for the past year or so, and Daniel Levy has continued to stick with it in the ongoing summer as well. The officials at Hotspur Way are targeting another player that Ange Postecoglou can shape as per his playing style in Jens Hjertø-Dahl, per GMS.

The Norwegian midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with multiple English top-tier clubs vying for his signature. The likes of Liverpool, Everton, Aston Villa, Fulham, and Sheffield United have expressed interest in the 18-year-old this summer, alongside the North Londoners.

The Merseyside showdown, complemented by other clubs involved, makes it a tricky deal for Tottenham to do.

Spurs face stiff competition for impressing youngster Hjertø-Dahl

He possesses a massive frame of 193cm, which gives him the physique and long legs to cover the ground quickly, and he could prove to be an incredible investment this summer.

Tottenham need depth in the midfield following the departure of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who joined Marseille earlier this summer. Giovani Lo Celso is also linked with a move away from N17. And they could use a sensible investment this summer.

We will see if Spurs and Levy are serious about landing his signature, which will be difficult as multiple domestic as well as international clubs have been interested in his services.

Ange Postecoglou can boast his project, complemented by the fact that the player can have first-team involvements for a big six side in the Premier League, which is an offer too good to reject for the teenager.
