Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a brilliant summer as they have made some ceiling-raising signings as they look to compound on the progress that the club made under Ange Postecoglou’s tutelage in the past campaign.
While the club has signed some promising players in the summer window, they have also sold a number of players, one of them being Brazilian full-back Emerson Royal.

The former Barcelona man found himself as a surplus to the needs at White Hart Lane following the emergence of Pedro Porro in his position.
And with Royal moving to AC Milan, the club has been dipping into the market to replace his presence in the squad, and Levy has potentially identified Monaco right-back Vanderson for a potential move this summer.

Any move to sign Vanderson would cost a hefty €32m plus add-ons and Spurs are set to submit an offer to acquire his services, per highly reputable journalist Bruno Andrade. As the club continues to pursue the 23-year-old’s signatures despite Ange Postecoglou’s recent admission about Djed Spence, who is ready to stay at Hotspur away after impressing in the recently concluded pre-season campaign.
Vanderson has been praised as a ‘huge perfectionist’ by the former Rangers manager Philippe Clement, something that will be music to Postecoglou’s ears as the Australian boss loves commitment and attention to detail.
Vanderson or Spence?
For Tottenham, this would mean considerable depth in the position, complemented by having an understudy to Pedro Porro, which can not only help the squad in the short term but ensure that there is competition breeding in the squad over a longer term at White Hart Lane.
With respect to the player, Vanderson will get an opportunity to be a part of an exciting project for a Big Six side in the Premier League, and that would be something that the Brazilian would love to have on his career CV.
