Tottenham Hotspur are set to face Leicester City in the opening game week of a new season, and the North Londoners have been subject to some massive injury boosts as they head into the game.
The Lilywhites have been looking to compound on their squad this summer, and they have successfully secured some bright prospects heading into the season opener. However, the boldest headline going into the match at King Power Stadium is not about the arrivals but rather about the fitness boost that Ange Postecoglou received ahead of the game.
Udogie fit for Spurs opener, Solanke to debut
£75k-a-week Italian fullback Destiny Udogie has been passed fit to start the game for Spurs later today after missing out on much more of the pre-season campaign at White Hart Lane, per The Standard. It will be a massive boost for the North Londoners to welcome 5 G/A (2 goals and 3 assists) defender back to full fitness.
Spurs faithful saw the majority of the Premier League weekend going the right way as most of their rivals secured three points, and away at Leicester City, they would go into the fixture wanting to avoid that surprising outcome of the weekend.

The report also claims that summer signing Dominic Solanke should make his debut wearing Tottenham colours later today, while Richarlison is not fully fit just yet.
However, beyond the Brazilian ace, the Australian gaffer will have the majority of the squad at his disposal, as Udogie is fit for the game despite only playing one game in the pre-season.
Bissouma out but Spurs still strong
With Udogie set to start, Ange will also have to think about his midfield options, as he would miss out on Yves Bissouma’s services. The Mali international has been suspended owing to his recent controversy over laughing gas.
Rodrigo Bentancur could get his chance early in the season.
