The summer exodus at White Hart Lane is set to continue as Daniel Levy looks to build on the £20 million Oliver Skipp sale as Argentine midfielder Giovani Lo Celso continues to be linked with a move away from N17.
Lo Celso has been evaluating his options for some time as he looks to drop curtains on his time in North London with multiple clubs linked with a move for his signatures.
Tottenham set to cash in on Lo Celso
The likes of Aston Villa and Real Betis have been vying for his services. The duo are regarded as highly probable destinations for Gio at the moment. However, there are new suitors in AS Roma who are also pursuing Gio’s signatures.
The Italian giants have also joined the long list of clubs looking to secure the 28-year-old’s signature; however, their pursuit of the Argentine would be highly influenced by whether Paulo Dybala moves to the Saudi Pro League, per Express Sport.

The report also states that the saga of Lo Celso’s signatures is set to go down to the wire.
Tough time at Tottenham
Giovani Lo Celso has endured a difficult spell since moving to North London in a €60 million deal and has struggled to get a regular starting spot under his belt during his time at the club.
Many thought that the arrival of Ange Postecoglou could hand him an opportunity to revamp his career at N17, albeit that did not happen as injuries limited him to only 22 appearances in the league, of which he started only four.
Lo Celso has recorded only 10 goals and 8 assists during his time at the club, which shows how difficult a time he has endured at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham Hotspur confirmed signings, transfers in, out, loan exits, releases for 2024/25
And with only one year left on his current deal, Tottenham will be looking to ensure that they sell the player rather than risk losing him on a free transfer next summer.
We will see how it goes, but at the moment, it looks like he already has one foot out the Hotspur Way doors.
