As the summer transfer window draws to a close, one of the longest transfer sagas seems to be nearing its conclusion.
Federico Chiesa has been long touted to be on his way out of Juventus, attracting interest from all over Europe despite his recent injury concerns.
And now, we have an update as to where he would like to go.
Federico Chiesa inclined towards Barcelona move amid North London interest
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Chiesa is keen on a move to Barcelona, with his time at Juventus all but over as recently confirmed by new Bianconeri manager Thiago Motta.
Chiesa has been linked with an array of clubs all across Europe, with the Old Lady keen to see the back of him. In London alone, he has attracted interest from the big three, with Chelsea, Spurs, and Arsenal having all been linked with him.
Arsenal are touted to make a late move for an attacker, while Spurs are expected to be reluctant to move for him now that they have signed Wilson Odobert, though the Italy international looks keen on a move to La Liga.
Juventus are now reportedly ready to accept an offer as low as €10 million for Chiesa, whose €9.26m-per-year contract at the Allianz Stadium runs out next summer.
Tottenham better off without Chiesa
The near-desperate willingness with which Juve are keen to offload Chiesa, once their most cherished possession, and given Odobert has been promising in his first Tottenham minutes, hint at the latter not really needing someone like the Italy international.
Of course, Spurs wouldn’t want Arsenal to gain something out of this, but the Gunners seem wise enough to let Chiesa take the Barcelona plunge.

What the much-maligned financially desperate Barcelona would get out of an injury-prone player under a manager keen on a rigorous fitness regimen is anyone’s guess.
