Tottenham Spurs has shuffled a few things over the years in the defensive lines. The club has also seen a few centre-backs like Eric Dier and Toby Alderwield departing. While we knew very little about Cristian Romero on his arrival, it’ll be safe to say he has made a name for himself over the four years.
Romero, who joined the London side on a loan move at first just marked his 100th appearance for the club last weekend. Putting up a man-of-the-match performance and bagging his first of the season, Romero has made a name for himself at the lane. High Praise for Romero as he marked his 100th appearance

Romero put up a world-class performance in the 4-0 win against Everton marking a century of appearances in a Tottenham shirt. In this dominating victory, Romero proved his worth yet again. As he wrapped up the game with the final goal of the game, his overall performance was a gem too. Moreover, Ben and Rob took time on their platform to give Romero the respect he deserved. In a conversation between they mentioned
“It’s his front-foot defending that makes him so key to this Spurs team.”
The Podcast Duo via Instagram also reviewed his performance against Everton. The Argentine Centre-back was the player with around 11% of the possession from the game and a passing accuracy of 93%. Alongside the goal, he was the player with the most tackles (6) and aerial duels (3). Not a bad way to mark your 100th performance club.
