Tottenham Hotspur are enjoying a ride into a new era with Ange Postecoglou wheeling the bandwagon at White Hart Lane, and while the Spurs faithful dream about a new era, the former North Londoners player Danny Rose believes that Mauricio Pochettino could one day return to the N17 to take charge of the Lilywhites.
Spurs have endured a difficult start to the new campaign, with Ange’s side drawing one and losing in the open three games weeks with North London Derby around the corner. Although the chiefs at Hotspur Way would back the Australian gaffer to come good. He has taken massive strides with the North London side, and the club is backing Ange to take Tottenham to potential silverwares in the near future.
Danny Rose believes Pochettino could return to Tottenham
And while everything seems to be sailing smoothly for the North Londoners, Danny Rose comes out to ponder the uncertain tomorrows as he insists that Maricuo Pochettino could come make a probable return to White Hart Lane at some point in the future.
Spurs enjoyed a soothing time under the Argentine, who led them to the Champions League final during his spell at N17 from 2014 to 2019.
While speaking on the In The Zone podcast, Rose said (via Football London): “I definitely thought that pre-Chelsea, [Mauricio] Pochettino could return to Tottenham,”
“I don’t think that him going to Chelsea for a year hinders that happening again in the future. Although it’s another four years until the next World Cup and hopefully, he’s going to see it out with managing the USA.

“Of course, anything can happen in the next four years but before he went to Chelsea, I thought it was nailed on that he probably would have gone to Spurs before Ange. I still believe that he will return to Tottenham as manager one day.”
Pochettino’s time at Chelsea won’t bar return
Building on his time at Spurs, Pochettino has a brief spell at French giants Paris Saint-Germain. He eventually took charge of Tottenham’s city rivals Chelsea. Rose feels that Poch’s time in West London shouldn’t impact any possible return to Spurs.
The former Southampton gaffer has now taken charge of the USA’s national team and is expected to stick around with the USMNT until the next World Cup.

Rose strongly believes that his ties with the club and the fact that he is still a fan favourite at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium open doors for a possible return.
