The North Londoners now have an opportunity to get away from the English top tier and gain their confidence back in the league cup. Spurs are scheduled to face Coventry City in the Carabao Cup in the ongoing midweek.

The EFL Cup is generally a time where the supporters get to see young and promising players, who generally don’t get to experience senior football in the Premier League. Managers use it to build confidence, something Ange Postecoglou’s side desperately needs at the moment.
