Tottenham Hotspur have been blessed with a plethora of wide forwards off late, and sometimes that joint blessing could turn out to dwell an individual curse, as in the case of Manor Solomon. While having started his career donning the Lilywhites badge on a high, things soon turned soar owing to his injury concerns that kept him on the sidelines for the majority of the previous season.
The opportunities at Hotspur Way looked bleak when he turned up again, as the club had moved on to other players and the decision was made to loan him out for the 2024/25 season.
Solomon future at N17 in the balance
Manor Solomon had shown glimpses of greatness before his injury; however, it takes a while to feel confident about his abilities.
And John Wenham, owner of Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose’s, thinks that the 25-year-old could secure a permanent exit to Leeds United next summer. He thinks that the forward’s qualities are too good for English second-tier and feels that the player would join a lower-half Premier League side in a £10 million deal.
Wenham predicts Solomon’s Leeds move
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, Wenham said:
“I really hope that this loan move goes well. Solomon is too good for the championship. Therefore, he would probably suit a bottom-half Premier League team.
“Hopefully he absolutely smashes it and gets himself into the team of the season. I could then see him making his move to Leeds permanent next summer for around £10 million.
“It is a really good loan, and I’m delighted that he has gone straight into the team.”

The Israeli winger has already enjoyed a stirring start to the season with Leeds United. He has put in an assist on his debut, and Wenham hopes that the 25-year-old will earn himself a place in Champions Team of the Season at the end of the ongoing season.
For Tottenham, it makes sense to have a look at him before pondering the possibilities of an exit. There is a highly rated roadrunner in there who can have a Pedro Neto-like impact on games; it’s about shrugging the injury concerns and finding if he can still contribute at the highest level or now. And at the moment, it’s too soon to say anything.
