Son Heung-min namderops his favourite Tottenham player of all time

published :

Tottenham Hotspur skipper Heung-Min Son is an integral part of everything that the North Londoners are building under Ange Postecoglou. He has established himself as a key cog at Hotspur Way since Harry Kane’s departure to Bayern Munich in the previous summer transfer window.

The South Korean ace moved to White Hart Lane in 2015 from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen, and he has become one of Lilywhites most credible players in history. In the process of doing so, Som has also established himself as one of the most consistent players in the English top tier off late.

His partnership with former Spurs skipper Harry Kane broke records in the Premier League, with the duo having the record for most goal combinations in Premier League history.

He has been an integral member of the Lilywhites squad in multiple campaigns, including the infamous 2019 Champions League loss.

Son love for Davies highlights his impact at Tottenham

Having been at White Hart Lane for about nine years now, he is more part of Tottenham than the walls where the club play their home games, and in a recent Tottenham Hotspur fan forum, he was asked to name his favourite Spurs player of all time.

While there are many glorified options, Son chose a surprise name in Ben Davies. The Welshman has been a reliable presence at Hotspur Way since moving from Swansea City in 2014.

While primarily featuring as a left back, Ben has been a versatile figure in the dressing room. And though not always a regular starter during his time at the club, his professional behaviour and putting club first attitude have won him a place in the supporters hearts.

It is splendid to see Son applauding Davies for everything he has been at N17.
