Tottenham vs West Ham - Preview, Prediction & More | Premier League 2024-25.

Tottenham Hotspur have seen their fair share of injury concerns in the young season, and Ange Postecoglou would be scratching his head to get the players back soon; one of the players that has been serving sidelines for a long time is attacker Wilson Odobert.

Odobert has signed for the Lilywhites in the recently concluded summer transfer as Daniel Levy brought the Burnley wide forward as an alternative to Nico Williams.

The player enjoyed some exciting displays in his initial minutes donning the Spurs badge, which got ample of Lilywhites supporters excited; however, the Frenchman suffered a hamstring injury just three games into his career at N17.

Odobert could return to training after international break

Spurs hopeful Odobert will be back in action soon

And according to injury expert Dr. Rajpal Brar, the 19-year-old should be expected to be back in training during or after the upcoming international break. He claims that the player suffered a Grade 3 hamstring injury, and as per the updates given by the club, it seems like a serious one.

Discussing Odobert’s potential to be back, the injury expert said in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News:

“This sounds like a Grade 3 hamstring injury. If that is the case, typically looking at over three to four weeks out. The club confirmed that it’s not looking good so that’s never a good sign. If all things go as per plan, he could be back in full training during or after the international break.”

Something different

Odobert is one of the wide forwards who can take his man on and gives something different to the offensive line at White Hart Lane. And that element of surprise can come really useful for Spurs once he is fit and running. Ange Postecoglou likes his wide forwards to operate in space, and someone who likes to dribble inside and take on his man gives him something different to operate with.

For now, it is about getting Odobert back to full fitness and having himself available.
