Tottenham Hotspur have a number of young players at Ange Postecoglou’s disposal, and it is a tricky task to maintain their development. Albeit in the bunch of upcoming stars, the Lilywhites have a highly rated duo who are bound for greatness.
Daniel Levy has been looking to create a self-sustaining pipeline from the academy into the first team as the chiefs at Hotspur Way, and to aid success, the chief in-charge of the Lilywhites has been trying to sign highly rated young players to shape them as per the needs at Hotspur Way. Though while he does so, the academy has produced a couple of stars who are ready to step into the first team at White Hart Lane and make their mark.
Rising stars Moore and Lankshear could be next Kane
Mikey Moore has already been making noises with his performance in the academy at Hotspur Way, and that has led to the ace getting a few appearances for the first team at N17 at only seventeen, and given his highly acclaimed abilities, the player is already destined to become a regular under Ange Postecoglou in a short space of time.
Another 17-year-old making a name for himself is Will Lankshear. The teenager got ample of minutes under his belt in the pre-season preceding the ongoing campaign, where his impressive performances set him on a path to some minutes as an understudy to Dominic Solanke and Richarlison.
Former Tottenham defender Gary Mabbutt believes that the aforementioned duo has the capability to be the next start at White Hart Lane while comparing them to Harry Kane.

Speaking on talkSPORT, the 63-year-old said:
“We have got players coming through the ranks we haven’t had for a while. I think Harry Kane was our last superstar to come through. We have got young lads now, Will Lankshear; we have got Mikey Moore, who is only just 17. He’s going to be a superstar in the future.”
When any youngster gets likened to Harry Kane, you know that the expectations are high and that they possess talent to make a far-reaching impact donning the Spurs badge.
