Spurs have suffered a blow in pursuit of his signatures as Liverpool are preparing an offer to secure the player’s signature, per the Daily Mail. This comes as a surprise, as you don’t usually see players moving to the other side of Merseyside given the renowned rivalry.

But it looks like Arne Slot’s side is about to do so as they look to offer mighty fees to sign Branthwaite in 2025.

For Tottenham, this comes as a big blow, as the 22-year-old could have been an ideal replacement for Cristian Romero if he does conclude a move to Real Madrid.
