Tottenham Hotspur have finally found themselves following a slow start to the season, and the Lilywhites continued their brilliant run of form with a European win against Ferencvaros on the road, and the North Londoners’ right-back Pedro Porro enjoyed a brilliant outing against the Hungarian champions.

The Spaniard was instrumental in defensive as well as offensive aspects of the game yesterday, as we saw his quality soar through the fixture. 

There were multiple highlight moments that Porro enjoyed against Ferencvaros, and one of those came just after the half-hour mark when he showed great intent in getting past a defender following a short corner before pulling out a curler that hit the post. He came close to scoring a wonderous goal, which could have gone straight into season highlights for many Lilywhites faithful.

Porro’s overall display was more than that; he finished 70 out of 85 passes, and 19 of those finished in the final third, showcasing how his presence is integral for the offensive game that Spurs play under Ange Postecoglou. These are magnificent numbers for a full back, and Tottenham supporters will be hoping that the full-back grossing £85,000 per week continues his midweek form into the weekend when they face Brighton & Hove Albion, who pose not only a wide range of hurdles tactically but also a variant set of players whose abilities could hurt Tottenham easily.
