Tottenham scouts spotted amidst interest in Lookman and Ederson.

Tottenham Hotspur enjoyed a magnificent summer transfer window where they not only brought in some ceiling-raising players while also ensuring that the surplus at Hotspur Way is cleared, and in doing so Daniel Levy ensured that there is room for more qualitative players in the dressing room. And despite the window only ending recently, the chiefs at N17 have already started laying blueprints for the upcoming transfer intervals in 2025.

The Lilywhites scouts have been spotted in games around Europe as they try to get a close look on the players they want to bring to White Hart Lane. Spurs scouts were again among the audience in Atlanta’s 3-0 win over Ukrainian giants FC Shakhtar Donetsk.

Spurs have been subject to links with a move for multiple players from the Italian side, i.e., midfielder Ederson and versatile forward Ademola Lookman, two players who played a key role in Atalanta’s 2024 UEFA Europa League win. The North Londoners are said to be monitoring the aforementioned duo ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window, per Graeme Bailey (via. TBRFootball).

Ederson has been one of the midfielders that has been linked with multiple elite clubs from around the English top tier, including Liverpool, Manchester City, and Newcastle United, along with the Lilywhites. He played a critical role in the previous campaign, making 36 appearances for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side while finding the net six times and having a one-off assist in his name.

His versatile profile, complemented by the technical quality he possesses, makes him an ideal candidate to strengthen the middle of the park at White Hart Lane.

Alongside the Brazilian midfielder, Spurs have also been looking at a possibility to bring Ademola Lookman. The Nigerian international is one of the best wide-forwards in Europe at the moment, and Spurs have expressed interest in signing his services. Lookman has netted 35 goals and has a further tally of 20 assists since joining the Italian side in 2022. He could bring a lot to Tottenham if Spurs were to make a move for him.
