Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has been a frustrating presence at White Hart Lane off late, as his injury concerns have kept him away from the Lilywhites roster on a consistent basis. This has pushed the chiefs at Hotspur Way to reconsider the Brazilian’s future at the club.
The North Londoners signed Richy from Everton in a deal worth £60m, and huge things were expected from him when he initially moved to White Hart Lane. However, the 27-year-old has not been able to replicate his previous success at Tottenham after having scored only 15 goals in 68 appearances.
He was linked with a move away from Spurs for a while, and everything pointed towards an exit last summer with Saudi Pro Clubs interested in securing his signatures; however, the 27-year-old rejected the move.
And with his former side, Everton, set to be taken over by The Friedkin Group, Richy may consider returning to a familiar environment where he has thrived before; at least that is what John Wenham, owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, believes.
Is it time for Tottenham to cut their losses on Richarlison?
The podcast host insists that no one would pay a sufficient sum to land Richarlison, and Everton could be a possible way out.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, Wenham said:
“It is frustrating that a move to Saudi Arabia didn’t work out. I can’t imagine anybody else paying us the money unless something mad happens with Everton. Perhaps they will offer us the money back once they get taken over. You know what football is like, something like that can happen.
“I don’t see any other clubs being willing to pay the £60million.”
Richarlison’s case gets trickier by the day, and his injury history means he cannot be a part of the Spurs roster if they want to go deep into competitions, which makes a move away from N17 highly likely, unless something were to change.
