Tottenham Hotspur enjoyed a spectacular summer transfer window as the Lilywhites brought some exceptional talent to White Hart Lane while ensuring that they cleared the surplus at Hotspur Way; however, Daniel Levy missed one highly rated player in his bid to make the transfer window an exceptional one; Spurs were subject to aggressive links with Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze, although no move was concluded despite links.
The North Londoners are expected to put their hat in the race for the England international once again in 2025; however, the competition is expected to be more intense this time around, with Manchester City and Arsenal also interested in Eze’s signatures.
Tottenham tracking Eze ahead of 2025 move
Former Lilywhites goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who remains very well connected among the cubicles at Hotspur Way, insists that the club is keeping a close eye on the player and his performances for the Eagles as well as England this year. Speaking in the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, he insists that should the Arsenal Hale End academy reject step up at Selhurst Park in the ongoing campaign, Spurs would be among the clubs vying for his signatures.
That being said, it has been a slow start to the campaign for the 26-year-old and his current employers, who remain without a win in the premier seven games of the English top tier.
Robinson: Spurs could make move for Eze next summer
Eze has two years remaining on his current contract at Palace, and the Eagles could be tempted to accept an offer along the lines of £50-60 million in the summer of 2025.

Speaking to Football Insider, Robinson said:
“An attack-minded midfielder is something they are looking at alongside James Maddison. Eze, depending on how this season goes with Crystal Palace, will sit down and see where his future lies.”
“It’ll be a tough one to get done in the winter. He’s under contract until 2027, so come next summer he’ll have two years left on his contract.”
“I fully expect there to be interest in Eze if he has a good season for Palace this year and plays well for England as well. There’ll be a number of clubs ready to take him away from Selhurst Park next year.”
“The top clubs in England will all be after him. The likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham are all admirers of Eze and are keeping tabs on his situation ahead of next summer’s transfer window.”

It is going to be tricky for Tottenham to land Eze if all the aforementioned clubs are invested, and a lot could depend on whether Ange Postecoglou’s side can qualify for the Champions League for the next campaign.
