Daniel Levy agrees there is a major 'probem' in English football; cites long-term interests.

Tottenham Hotspur have started preparing their blueprint for the 2025 transfer intervals as Daniel Levy looks to repeat the success that the Lilywhites enjoyed in the recently concluded summer transfer window. And the chiefs among the cubicles at Hotspur Way have already started laying their plans, and among the potential targets is Torino defensive midfielder Samuele Ricci, who has been subject to links with a move away from the Italian giants over the past few weeks.

The North Londoners are in dire need of a new midfielder, and as backed by highly acclaimed Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold, the Lilywhites are expected to bring in a new number six in the upcoming window, which reciprocates the Lilywhites links with Ricci.

AC Milan joins race for Ricci

However, any move for Ricci would be a difficult venture for Spurs, as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City have already expressed interest in landing the 23-year-old, who has been valued at €30 million by his current employers, a bargain in terms of quality to price ratio in the current market.

Now, adding to the list of interested parties, Serie A giants AC Milan have also joined the race for the Italian international, and it will be interesting to see whether they can win the race to his signatures, per Milan Live. Their Italian status definitely complicates the English club’s bid to land the player.

For Tottenham, Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici always found a way to get through to the clubs and players in the Italian top tier, as Spurs faithful would be bagging on their reputation for securing Ricci’s services as well.
