Ange Postecoglou has done a wonderful job at Tottenham Hotspur, as he has taken the club from one of the struggling big six sides to one of the most exciting teams in the continent in such a short space of time. And while the Lilywhites endured a slow start to their season in the ongoing campaign, the Greek-born head coach turned it around with a five-game winning streak before that blitz against Brighton before the international break.
The Australian head coach has not only introduced an exciting brand of football at White Hart Lane but also has stabilised the ship and ensured that the supporters are backing the side and are paddling the boat with the players in the same side.
Postecoglou post under threat?
However, an anticipated takeover at Hotspur Way could change all that, as Amanda Staveley could bring in Eddie Howe to take over from the former Celtic manager if a takeover is completed. She has been lurking around a potential takeover of Tottenham after leaving Newcastle United alongside husband Mehrdad Ghodoussi and is expected to buy the majority of Joe Lewis shares.

And if that goes through, she would be trying to bring Eddie Howe to White Hart Lane, per The Sun.
Staveley could bring Howe to Tottenham
Staveley held a ten percent stake in the Toons, where she was a pivotal figure in sacking Steve Bruce and appointing Howe to lead at St. James Park. However, she walked away from Newcastle, alongside her husband, back in July to push for a Spurs takeover. And it looks like her admiration for Howe would push Amanda to bring the former Bournemouth manager to N17 if Ange Postecoglou were to be shown the door.
