Fabrizio Romano issues update on Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in Eberechi Eze.

Despite not yet reaping the full benefits from their recent signings, Tottenham had a productive summer transfer window, bringing in four exciting teenagers and splashing £65m on striker Dominic Solanke, who enjoyed a prolific season with Bournemouth last year.

One of the new teenage arrivals, Lucas Bergvall, is already impressive, while Archie Gray has shown promise in his cameo appearances. Meanwhile, Wilson Odobert is still adjusting after his £30m move from Burnley. With January approaching, it’s now being reported that Tottenham are still in the market for another winger to further bolster their squad.

On his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano revealed that Tottenham are still keen on Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze.

“Several clubs are keeping a close eye on Eberechi Eze,” Romano stated, highlighting growing interest in the talented midfielder.

The English midfielder, capable of playing various positions across the midfield, joined Crystal Palace from QPR in 2020 and has been on a steady rise ever since. He has made 113 appearances for the club, contributing to 47 goals. Currently earning £100,000 per week, Eze’s composed style and individual talent have caught the attention of several Premier League clubs looking to secure his signature.

“We know he’s always been appreciated by Tottenham. We know several other clubs have been scouting him, including Manchester United.”

“Man United want to invest in a winger in 2025. They’ve not decided who that is going to be, so let’s wait. Let’s see what happens.”
